"The Heart of Christmas"

Cindi fulfilled her lifelong dream of releasing a Christmas album. Working with Cindi were some of Winnipeg's finest musicians.

The CD features thirteen selections for a total playing time of 44:33. Reviewing the CD for R.P.M., Larry Delaney wrote:

"This turns out to be one of the best 'music gifts' of the Christmas season ... not only do we once again get to enjoy the vocal stylings of Cindi Cain - remembered for her string of country hits during the 90's under the tutelage of revered Canadian pioneer Don Grashey - but we're also treated to some great acoustic (almost bluegrass) arrangements of standard Christmas tunes, giving much of this a fresh and different taste....

One of the highlight moments on the album comes in the title song, The Heart of Christmas, an original tune written by Darryl Torchia ... who plays a key role in the making of this album. Cindi Cain delivers the heartfelt song with stirring emotion; certainly worthy of it becoming the "hit of the season", and many more seasons to come."
